This end of terrace property, originally built in the late 1890s as a railway worker’s house, has been sensitively remodelled and extended using reclaimed gault clay bricks to form a large contemporary family kitchen opening up to the garden.

A new side entrance and courtyard area has been created, with access into a dining hall at the centre of the house.

An additional bedroom was provided on the first floor with a vaulted ceiling.

Environmental improvements include the installation of triple glazing and high levels of insulation to the new spaces.
